Sons of Noah - Children of Abraham
The Laodicean church has overdone its impersonation of world, in worship and marriage. It has taken the things that are permissive to excess, thereby playing with sin, as one would a cherished violin. Caught up in life's default attractions, it has labored aimlessly on misplaced priorities. Who then will call attention to the nation's residual memory of the Creator? Such is the intent of this book.
One is made incredulous by the hubris of the Supreme Court's ruling on marriage, the first institution made in Eden. Seemingly, the nations are now at that moral place where Generation Noah was before the flood, prideful and wicked. The truth of Yahweh's Word must be set apart from contemporary relevance.
The temerity and pride of men are but mere footnotes of the rebellious Nimrod, who once ruled the world. The righteous Abraham was called out from within his court, to establish a nation of believers in Canaan, (Genesis 12:1). Therein, we come to know that Israel is not an extreme type of people, except in ethics?
Therefore, is it without cause that Yahweh asked: "Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel?" (Amos 9: 7).
Unspoken thou it is, 'Fig Leaf' Christianity is exercising an influence over the writings of the laws and prophets, against which the Messiah warned, (Matthew 5: 17). Ghastly and repugnant is the rebellion now taking place and poignant is the message from Dr. Mattocks. The world is a place divided, not so much by 'races' of people, but by morals and ethics. If ever Yahshua made more than one race of people, humans, the Scriptures have made no mention of it, (Acts 17: 26).
Mattocks has kept the enormous proportions of Abraham's life in view to the reader, the salient point being that if we believe in Yahshua, we are Abraham's seed, (Galatians 3: 29); (John 8: 39). Thus, it is unwise to think in the paradox of a gentile church, as some have done. All believers in Yahshua are part of the Commonwealth of Israel, (Romans 11: 13-27); (Ephesians 2: 12).
